My Pip
My Pip must be entering her teenage years. Yesterday I got home about one in the afternoon. No Pip. Around 3 I went out and called her. She had much better things to do than come home and spend time with her mom. At 6, I was definitely ready for a dose of my Pipster so I went out and called her again. Still no Pip. At 9pm I was getting a little nervous, wondering what was more important than coming home at at least eating, if not seeing her mom. Still no response to my louder pleas for her to come home. Still, no little fuzz face coming thru her window. At midnight I was ready to go out and start beating the bushes for my girl. But this time when I called, she did come down the hill toward home. But it was slower and much more hesitant than usual for my girl. Then I noticed that between me and Pip, a white cat was laying. Pip was very reluctant to go past the white cat. I've never seen the white cat, but apparently Pip has. Pip finally did make it home and seemed happy to see me. I think that Pip and the white kitty got off on the wrong paw with each other. But this morning Pipster was back to her normal self, running thru the apartment, jumping into and out of her boxes. As I left for work, her cute little head was poked out of the window watching me leave. It's always so hard for me not go back and give her all sorts of love when she does that! Silly Pipster!!
