So I'm sitting at a computer, in a warm room with animals and friends around watching my Steelers do their part to get into the playoffs and realizing (not for the first time) that life for me is pretty good. I have a job, a roof over my head, friends, and of course the Pipster. Are there things I would like to have and don't? But I also know that I have it a lot better than a LOT of people in the world. Of course if my Steelers make it into the playoffs, my year will get off to an even better start!! And the lead went from 17 points to 3 points just like that!! Come on Steelers! I want this to be a POSITIVE blog!! :)
Here's a shout out to the New Moon Farm Goat Rescue in Arlington. They take in goats that have been abused, or the owners can no longer take care of. According to the King 5 home page, they took in 131 goats in 2009 and found good homes for 118 of them. And they are also taking recycled Christmas trees to help feed the goats. So they are doing two good things at once. Okay, I have to go yell at my Steelers now so they don't choke and lose this silly game.
