Happy holidays!

There are times when I realize how lucky I've been. I've never wanted to have kids, or be a parent. But fortunately for me, I've been blessed with people who allowed me to be a part of their childrens' lives. One of the things I find myself misssing this year is experiencing Christmas thru a child's eyes. Adults seem to have lost the willingness to believe in magic, to put logic aside for a minute and know without a doubt that everything and anything is possible. Kids don't care about the reasons why something can't be done. They know how to trust, to believe. And with that trust comes the magic and joy of a child on Christmas morning after Santa has come. Instead of finding all the reasons why something can't be done, I'll start trying to find ways to make things happen this coming year. I want to find some magic in my life again.

I hope that everyone has a very happy and safe holiday season.
