I think someone is just a little too smart for her own good!

So someone in the house has learned (or already knew!) how to open cupboard doors! When I went to the bathroom today, someone (not naming any names here!) had opened the cupboard under my bathroom sink. Nothing was dumped on the floor, but there were several items moved around....Hmmmm.... I think she's also realized that while I'm working, the TV is off. Since the Olympics started, on my breaks I've been turning the TV on to get sort of caught up. So today, I take my first break, turn on the TV. Here comes Baby Bug bounding out of the bedroom looking for either treats, or love, or playtime, or all of the above. Silly kitty! I haven't read the entire article yet. But I did come across an article about the Colorado movie shooter. According to this article, the shooter was seeing some sort of mental health professional at the university that is close to where the shootings took place. The MHP (mental health professinal) apparently warned faculty and admin people that this guy was a danger. But no one acted on it. Which kind of reminded me of the Penn State scandal. I know they are 2 different things. But at Penn State, Joe Paterno supposedly informed his higher up of at least some of the complaints about Sandusky. And nothing was done. Joe Paterno has taken the brunt of the criticism and blame for that. Will this MHP be in the same position? If not, what's the difference? Yes, both situations are terrible. But in one, children were abused and survived. In Colorado, people died. Two terrible situations, both similar in how they were handled. It will be interesting to see what backlash the Colorado university will get. Should MHPs be held to a higher or different standard than a football coach?
