Feeling rather paranoid today

Ok. So my Baby Bug is declawed, so I really don't want her going outside. But she has discovered the door leading out to my balcony and would really like to go out there (as well as out into the real world!). But it's such a long drop down if she tries to jump up on the rail like my Pip used to do. And I've already seen her have some trouble getting up on the top of the kitty condo. So I'm trying to be a responsible mom. But boy does she let me know how badly she wants to go out. Am I being paranoid imagining that she will fall and hurt herself? I don't know. It's so hard being a mom sometimes! But I wouldn't trade her for anything!
