Just a little bit different

So some cats that I've had before liked me to put my hand (or foot) underneath the covers on my bed, then move it around so they could chase and pounce. Baby Bug does things just a little bit differently. She likes to get under the covers anyway. But when she's in a playful mood, she likes to get under the covers and then have me move my hand, or a string over the covers. She tries to catch it. I can see her tail whipping so I can only guess that she's having a good time. Then once her tail slows down, she likes to stay under there and have me pet her thru the covers. She has also developed a liking for my toothbrush. Silly girl! Football is back!! Time to root for my Steelers and Bucs and root against Michael Vick and the Eagles! Apparently Michael Vick is wanting to adopt a dog for his kids. While I feel bad for the kids, there is no way that I want Vick to own another dog. Maybe by denying him this privilege he and his children will learn that dogs need to be treated with compassion and respect. I'm not even a little bit convinced that Vick has any remorse for what he did to those poor dogs. I think he's sorry he got caught. I believe if he had not been caught, he would still be engaging in that horrific behavior. How can someone who treats any living creature that way have any empathy or compassion? So how would he teach empathy and compassion to his children?
