And how was your day?

So about 4pm today, a UPS driver knocked on my door with a delivery from work. So I sign for the package and go back to work. 5pm comes and I'm definitely ready to be done, since I've worked 12 hour days the last 3 days. So I fix some dinner and eat it. 6 o'clock comes, and I realize that I haven't seen Baby Bug for a while. I look in all her usual spots. No Baby Bug. My heart starts beating faster as I wonder if she was able to sneak outside when I got my package. I didn't see her sneak out, and she hasn't tried to go outside since she got out and was VERY anxious for me to let her back in. But I can't find her. I slip on some shoes, hoping I'm wrong, since it's been a couple of hours since I've seen her and it's cold,rainy and dark outside. And I'm not sure how she will react if something startles her. So I go out, and start calling her name. After about 3 calls, I hear her meow. I talk to her, and she keeps meowing, I found her coming down one of the other stairway, dry as a bone and seemingly none the worse for wear. She followed me home and proceeded to sniff all of her favorite spots to make sure everything is the same. Then it was dinner time for her, followed by a long bath. And believe me, as soon as I stop giving her all sorts of love and kick her off my lap, she is going to be beaten quite severely about her head and shoulders!! Silly girl! Good thing I still kinda like her a wee bit!!
