Ever think you're hearing something in a song, but they're really singing something else? The word for mis-heard lyrics is 'mondegreen,' and it comes from a folk song in the '50's. The singer was actually singing "They slew the Earl of Morray and laid him on the green," but this came off soundingl ike 'They slew the Earl of Morray and Lady Mondegreen.'

The real name of the "I've fallen and I can't getup" lady is Edith Fore.

Christmas Eve

I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas! I'm feeling very blessed this year. I have good friends, a job that pays the bills and allows me to work from home. Though death has touched my life this year, it was nothing like what people in Conn and Colo and so many other places have gone thru. I'm still healthy enough to get out and about. And of course, I got to bring Baby Bug home with me! I think we're both feeling really lucky about that! A few days ago she gave me my first head butt, and I've noticed she's laying on her back exposing her belly more now. I think she's starting to truly believe that she has found her furever home! I hope the upcoming year brings everyone much love, many good memories, lots of laughter, and great happiness and peace! Merry Christmas!
