Now I've done it!

So you folks know my Baby Bug loves her paper! She is I think a paper conessiuer! She likes tissue paper, butcher paper, and the paper from small paper bags, but she's not crazy about bigger paper bags, like you get from the grocery store (unless you take your own of course!). I'm convinced that she likes the sound of it as she either slides on it, or lays on it and bats it. Keeping that in mind, I bought her a cat toy yesterday. It's nothing fancy. Just a stick, a string, and a furry mouse. But the mouse does have a small bell in it so whenever it moves, it squeaks. I think Bug believes she has won the lottery! She LOVES this toy! Twice already, after I think I'm done playing, and put the toy down next to me, she's up on the couch trying to get to the toy! I don't think there's any cat nip in it. I think she's likes the sound of this toy as much as she likes her paper. And she's like a kitten when I play with her. She jumps up in the air, scoots herself across the floor trying to catch it, and RUNS after it. And her eyes get so big when she's watching it! So now, I have to put the toy up out of her reach, since I don't want her to get ahold of it, and end up wrapping the string around herself. She's such a silly kitty! If only more humans could get so much enjoyment and fun out of such simple pleasures. I've often thought that kitties came into my life to teach me things. It feels like Bug is trying to teach me things. And here, I thought I rescued her. Guess maybe I'm the silly one. :)
